Meet Linda
Hi! Iâm Linda Steinbock, a coach, facilitator, and founder of Touching Distance.
For more than a decade, Iâve worked with leaders and teams in some of the worldâs most complex humanitarian contexts. Iâve led through typhoons, earthquakes, restructures, and deep transition. I understand what it takes to stay connected to purpose when the path ahead is uncertain.
Now, I support purpose-driven people to lead with clarity, courage, and care, especially in moments of change.
My coaching is rooted in lived leadership experience, deep listening, and practical frameworks that help you reconnect with who you are and how you want to lead. I am here to walk beside you. Not to fix, push, or prescribe. But to help you discover whatâs already within reach.

Many teams today are carrying more than just their to-do list. They're navigating uncertainty, depleted morale, and unclear direction. Even high-performing managers are asking: how do we move forward from here?
And sometimes, even in well-functioning teams, there's value in pausing; to reflect, strengthen trust and name what's going unsaid. To grow, not because something is broken, but because something even better is possible.Â
Thatâs where Team Coaching comes in.
At Touching Distance, I partner with HR professionals and team leaders to support their teams through transition, tension, or a desire to evolve. I work alongside you, not over you, to create space for real dialogue, reflection and change.
I use the PERILL framework (Psychological Safety, Equity, Roles, Inclusion, Leadership, and Learning) to explore how a team is functioning across six essential areas. Teams complete a short questionnaire in advance to surface patterns, strengths and areas of tension. Itâs not a box-ticking exercise, but rather a shared starting point for honest conversation.
Throughout the process, I build relationships with individual team members too. Trust doesn't just live in one room or one meeting. It grows when we listen wholeheartedly, respect what's being said, and feel safe to speak honestly.
This approach is grounded in lived experience. I've led large, global teams myself through change, pressure, and uncertainty. I'm also a certified team coach, trained to support both the relational and systemic dynamics that shape team performance. I understand what it means to carry both the people and the performance, and I bring that lens into every coaching relationship.
